Nurses' barbecue outside Deputy Prime Minister's office to highlight aged care
The ANF Victorian Branch held a community sausage sizzle outside Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard's Lalor electorate office to highlight the need for the Rudd Government to make aged care a 2010 budget priority.


Melbourne’s La Trobe University third-year undergraduate nursing students took time out from their end of year ANF barbecue to support the Because We Care campaign and their aged care nursing colleagues.

ALP NATIONAL CONFERENCE

The BWC campaign was widely promoted at the ALP National Conference; visiting Ministers, Senators and MPs were asked to undergo blood pressure tests, and to sign postcards as part of the national postcard campaign which was launched at the conference.
